KEITH DAVIS

TAIL GUIDE

FROM: CALIFORNIA, USA

SOCIAL: @KEITHCDAVIS

Born and raised in the Catskill Mountains of New York, Keith's passion for snowboarding started at a very young age, spending as much time on snow as possible with his friends and family. A majority of his youth was spent snowboard racing and traveling both as a coach and as part of the US Snowboard Team. His appreciation for the outdoors, the pure joy of laying down powder turns and playing safe in the backcountry is driven by his devotion to sharing these experiences with others. For the last 19 years, Keith has made his home in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. When not on remote, predawn-to-dark splitboard missions with friends, he guides locally around Lake Tahoe and up in Alaska. Keith is an Apprentice Splitboard Guide with the American Mountain Guides Association, a Wilderness First Responder, and holds a Level III Avalanche Certification and is an avalanche educator for the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education. He is also an active member on the Tahoe Search and Rescue team. In the summer months he is an avid mountain biker.
